2016 TOPPS ARCHIVES SIGNATURE SERIES ALL-STAR EDITION ARRIVES AUGUST 31st AT SPORTS CARDS PLUS - TED WILLIAMS SANDY KOUFAX NOLAN RYAN KEN GRIFFEY JR AUTO AND MORE
Remember 2015 Topps Archives Signature Edition? Every one card box had a On-Card Hand Signed Autograph of a baseball star on an original Topps buyback card. IT'S BACK but better than ever! Like last year’s similar release, every card is an autographed buyback.
Boxes come with just one item. It’s an original Topps or Bowman card from the past that has since been signed. The product gets the “All-Star Edition” notation because every card has a retired player who was an All-Star at least once in their career.
Cards come with an All-Star foil stamp noting they’re from this particular release. They’re also numbered and come already in a case. Signatures are all on-card.
Due to the nature of the product, it’ll be tough to nail down a full set. Rather, it’s aimed at fans of particular players and teams looking for a combination of autographs and nostalgia.
A couple of wrinkles have been added from 2015 Topps Archives Signature Series. First up are dual autographs. These are cards that picture two players and are signed by both. Memorabilia card buybacks are also available in2016 Topps Archives Signature Series All-Star Edition Baseball that transform existing relic cards into autographed relics.
Like last year's release, 2016 Topps Archives Signature Series All-Star Edition (arrives Wednesday August 31st) is starting out at $47.95 at Sports Cards Plus. Because of very limited supply and very huge demand, last year's product quickly rose to $65 per box. Pre-pay for your box today at Sports Cards Plus for just $47.95.
