Home runs catch baseball fans' attention and in 2017 we have two rookies who just might break the 50 home run barrier. Mark McGwire holds the rookie record for home runs with 49 set in 1987. Aaron Judge with 35 home runs and Cody Bellinger with 32 look like they both might break McGwire's record this year.Besides Judge and Bellinger, the 2017 rookie class has three other rookies showing home run power. The ratio of "At Bats per Home Run" is a measure used my many to identify home run power and project total home runs for the current season.
