Ever have one of those days when you could do no wrong; when you wish for something and there it was? Daniel doesn't hit a home run with every box he opens but it does happen for Daniel more than one might expect. But today Daniel's box picks seemed charmed.
Daniel came in to try a box of 2017-18 Panini Opulence Basketball ($999.95 at The Super Hit Factory). That first box netted him a De'Andre Fox Auto Jersey Patch Book 2/25 and some other beauties.
Daniel figured he was ahead at this point and decided he wanted to try a second box of Opulence from the same case. That box resulted in a Lebron James NBA Finals Premium Jersey Patch book 2/25.
Daniel said, "Charlie do you think this is a hot case? I want a Jayson Tatum RC. Do you think there is a Tatum RC in that last box?" Before I could answer him, Daniel started busting into the third box. That third box of Opulence gave Daniel his Jayson Tatum base RC numbered 1/5 and a Jayson Tatum Autographed Jersey Patch Book numbered 4/5!
Most people quite on a big hit and this was one of our biggest hits ever. Daniel turned to me and said, "I'm feeling lucky." Daniel said, "Are you still giving a $100.00 prize for pulling an Ohtani ?" "Yes, I answered." Daniel decided to try a box of 2018 Bowman Baseball. Here's Daniel's Ohtani and $100 prize.
Daniel wasn't done yet. 2018 Bowman Chrome Baseball for $124.95 with a $200 Prize for pulling a Shohei Ohtani Autographed numbered to 50 or less was too tempting. Well, Daniel didn't pull an Ohtani but he did pull a Estevan Florial Autographed Blue Refractor #d/150 and a Ronald Acuna Autographed Gold Refractor #d/50. Not a bad day for Daniel.
