2018 Panini Prizm Football Base Set Basics
2018 Panini Prizm Football comes with a 300-card base set. Veterans make up the majority of the checklist with 200 cards. Rookies, which are two per hobby pack, round out the final 100 cards.
Prizms parallels are a cornerstone of all Prizm sets. These come in many colors and types. Hobby boxes have a dozen including Prizm, Hyper (/275), Orange (/249), Light Blue (/199), Red Wave (/149), Blue Scope (/99), Green Crystals (/75), Purple Power (/49), Camo (/25), Gold (/10), Gold Vinyl (/5) and Black Finite (1/1). Light Blue and Orange are only available in hobby packs.
All told, 2018 Panini Prizm Football hobby boxes have ten Prizms, nine of which are serial numbered.
Autographs and Inserts
Autographs are three per box. The majority of these are Rookie Autographs, which Panini is promising a deep list of first-year players. Like the main set, Prizms come into play here with Red Wave (/199 or less), Blue Scope (/99 or less), Green Crystals (/75 or less), Purple Power (/49 or less), Camo (/25 or less), Gold (/10 or less), Gold Vinyl (/5 or less) and Black Finite (1/1) among the parallels.
Hobby-exclusive Rookie Patch Autographs are a case hit. Base versions are numbered to 99 or less. The parallel lineup here has Purple Power (/50 or less), Gold (/10) and Black Finite (1/1).
Inserts average out to 1:3 packs. Returning sets include Hype, Illumination, Instant Impact, Rookie Introductions, and Stained Glass.
New themes are 2018 HOF Tribute, Apex, Grit and Trifecta.
All regular inserts have Gold Mojo (/10) and Black Finite (1/1) parallels.
