And to prevent repetition, each of those packs has a different type of hit within each box, there’s one autograph relic, one on-card autograph, a premium memorabilia card and a quad relic.
2019 Topps Museum Collection Baseball Base Set
A total of 100 cards make up the main set. The base set is comprised of current stars and vets, top rookies, retired stars and Hall of Fame favorites.
Every pack includes one parallel. These come in Copper, Sapphire (/150), Amethyst (/99), Ruby (/50) and Emerald (1/1).
Autographs
2019 Topps Museum Collection Baseball uses on-card autographs for all signatures that don’t have memorabilia.
Archival Autographs return as the main source of signatures. The large checklist is similar to the base set in that it’s current players, rookies and some past stars.
All versions come with a serial number. Parallels include Copper (/50 or less), Gold (/25 or less) and Emerald (1/1).
Multi-signature sets are Dual (/15 or less) and Triple (/5) Autographs. These are still hard signed.
Museum Framed Autographs are still a case hit. Frame types include Silver (/15), Gold (/10), Black (/5) and Wood (1/1).
The metal frame theme continues to one-of-one autograph patch and dual autograph patch book cards, which have signatures from two players.
2019 Topps Museum Collection Baseball has several other autograph relic sets but not all of these are on-card. Single-Player Signature Swatches Dual Relic Autographs include Copper (/50 or less), Gold (/25) and Emerald (1/1) parallels.
Similar Triple Relic versions are also available. Parallel colors are the same, but quantities are smaller: Copper (/25 or less), Gold (/5) and Emerald (1/1).
Momentous Material Jumbo Patch Autographs (/15 and under) are back with massive swatches. Besides base versions, there are Gold (/5) and Emerald (1/1) as well. These also have new dual jumbo patch book cards (/5 or less).
Memorabilia Cards
Meaningful Material Relics (/50 or less) use pieces from game-worn gear. Parallels are Copper (/35), Gold (/25), Red (/10) and Emerald (1/1). Patches from two players are on Dual Meaningful Material Relics, which also max out at 50 copies each.
Momentous Material Jumbo Patch Relics (/5) are highlighted by their extra large piece of memorabilia.
One-of-one relics include Museum Memorabilia, which have MLB Silhouetted Batter Logo patches, Museum Memorabilia Laundry Tags and Jumbo Lumber Bat Nameplate Relics.
Quad relics come in three different forms. Single-Player and Four-Player Primary Pieces all have 99 copies at most. Parallels are Copper (/75 or less), Gold (/25) and Emerald (1/1).
Single-Player Primary Pieces Quad Relic Legends feature memorabilia from past stars. These are numbered to 25 or less and have Gold (/10) and Emerald (1/1) versions as well.
Canvas Collection
Canvas Collection Reprints return for another year as the lone regular inserts. Done on canvas stock, these offer artistic interpretations of top players.
In addition to the insert versions, there are some one-of-ones that have original art. Canvas Collection Originals are high-end sketch cards. Some Originals are further elevated with the inclusion of a player autograph.
New to 2019 Topps Museum Collection Baseball are Canvas Collection Originals Shaped Sketch Cards. Rather than using a traditionally shaped card, these are die-cut. Topps has taken a similar approach before in some of its entertainment lines like Star Wars and Garbage Pail Kids.
