Just for fun, I did a comparison of 2014 Flawless Football to 2012 National Treasures Football. The "VALUE" figures are my rough estimate of "value" per average box.
I estimated an average autograph value of $100 each for National Treasures and $125 each for Flawless. The autograph checklist for Flawless is limited to about half the number of stars and legends that National Treasures included. A stronger autograph checklist and all cards are numbered to 25 or less making the autographs more valuable in Flawless for the same star/legend.
While no rookie in 2014 Flawless is as valuable as Andrew Luck or Russell Wilson, all 2014 Flawless Rookies are numbered to 25 or less and the content is only the top 20 rookies for 2014. The top 20 rookies for 2012 and 2014 are shown below (my picks). Both are equally deep. However, 2012 National Treasures had 135 different rookie autographs making it harder to pull a valuable auto rookie card.
