This Wednesday, the NBA’s most gifted performance artists once again get a trading card tribute to match their bold, expressionistic talents. Panini America’s 2018-19 Court Kings Basketball arrives on April 3rd. A vital and robust staple on the NBA collecting landscape every year, Court Kings Basketball delivers once again this season with a slightly revised content mix and some of the most vibrant cards you’ll see in this or any other season.
On average, each hobby box (10 cards per box) will deliver two autographs, two Rookie Cards, two inserts and one parallel. Like the Court Kings creations that have come before, this one provides some of the most visually stunning designs of the year and four unique Rookie Card tiers per player.
The highlights of 2018-19 Court Kings Basketball are many and include . . .
- On-card autographs in Fresh Paint, Heir Apparent and Legacies Signatures. All on-card autographs are limited to 199 or less. Find members of the 2018-19 NBA Rookie Class in Fresh Paint and Heir Apparent.
- Autographs of some of the NBA’s all-time greats in Legacies Signatures — including Kobe Bryant, Reggie Miller and Bill Russell.
- Find Sapphire versions numbered to 25 or less and Masterpiece 1/1 versions.
- Short-printed insert cards in Aurora, LeCinque Piu Belle and Gallery of Stars. Aurora, Le Cinque Pui Belle and Gallery of Stars combine to fall even fewer than one per case.
- Collect four of the most unique Rookie Cards of the year in Rookies I through IV, where each version is more scarce than the previous, culminating in the super short-printed Rookies IV.
